If you could visit any origin country, where would you go?
While I may favor coffee from Honduras it is Colombia where I would like to go. A country rich in coffee history, culture and micro-climates would elevate all my senses.

I come to work to learn. I was not surprised by how little I knew about coffee coming into this job, but I was thrilled to discover how much there was to learn. There is a tremendous amount of talent in this company, and I doubt I will ever reach the bottom of that vast knowledge.

What got you into the coffee industry?
I got married 46+ years ago and needed a job. I had a friend who’s neighbor worked for Boyds and he said they paid above scale and nobody left. I made it a mission to get hired and have been working in the coffee world for 21 years.
